Moon & Method (moonandmethod.com) is a work of Noble Visions LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, sign up for the Moon Letter, buy Follow the Glimmer, or talk with Selene, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Email address. If you join the Moon Letter, the book-preview list, or a waitlist, we collect your email through our email provider, Kit. We also record which form you used (footer, book preview, Selene waitlist, app waitlist) so we can send you relevant updates instead of everything at once.
Contact form submissions. If you write to us through the Contact page, we collect your name, email, and message and deliver it directly to our inbox. We use it only to reply to you.
Conversations with Selene. Selene, the guide inside Follow the Glimmer, is powered by Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, accessed through Anthropic’s API. What you type to Selene is sent to Anthropic to generate her responses; under Anthropic’s commercial API terms, that content is not used to train Anthropic’s models. Your encounter with Selene is a one-time experience — we do not save the conversation on our servers. At the end, you’re given a PDF summary of your session to download and keep; once you close that session, we have no copy of it.
Purchase information. Book sales are processed entirely by Gumroad. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened; Gumroad holds your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
Basic site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and pages viewed in aggregate without cookies and without building a profile of you individually.
What we don’t do
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not share it beyond the processors named above (Kit, Gumroad, Anthropic, Vercel) who help us run the business. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site pixels.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. To ask what we have on file, or to have your email or contact-form message deleted, write to the address below — we’ll handle it within 30 days. If you’re a California resident, this includes the right to know what personal information we hold and the right to have it deleted; we don’t sell personal information, so there’s nothing to opt out of on that front.
Age requirement
Moon & Method is intended for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, note it in the Moon Letter.
